I am a theatre designer from Singapore working across both countries (UK and SG). I am interested in theatre and technology, and am currently juggling an MA exploring the use of VR in design alongside my professional practice.
The action-oriented ethos of Stage Sight resonates strongly with my concerns about the lack of visibility of offstage careers and demographic representation in them. I think there is power in dedicated, collective action taken as individuals, and we can and must contribute in ways we feel able to; Joining Stage Sight and integrating their initiatives into my practice is my limited way of doing so.
