Stage Management Association

The Stage Management Association works for stage managers and stage management in UK (and Ireland). All types of performances need creative stage management. We support, develop, represent and promote the work of members in the profession.

SMA are proud to be among the organisations signed up to Stage Sight, with commitments to improve access and inclusivity in our ranks; to offer low cost professional development training, to improve skills and access, and to reach, inform and support more aspiring SMs from all backgrounds in the future: giving potential entrants information to make an informed career choice, and opening up stage management as a job available to all who have aptitude and aspire to the role.
