The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama
Central’s mission is to train the practitioners who will shape the future of theatre and performance. We train stage and technical managers, lighting designers and production lighting specialists, sound designers and technicians, scenic constructors, scenic artists, costume constructors, prop makers and stage designers to degree level, working closely with industry as mentors and placement hosts. We recognize theatre and performance as collaborative arts, and place equal value on design and technical production and management within their creative ecosystem as any other role.
