Statement from the Stage Sight Committee – 29/09/2021

Since the start of the pandemic, Stage Sight has continued to offer support to the sector by enabling a platform for organisations and individuals to share, listen, discuss experiences and come together for peer support. Our membership has grown significantly in this time, demonstrating how much our work is needed.

We have all been through so much and learned so much during the pandemic and the social justice movements that have moved centre stage in the last 18 months. We believe that now is not the time to pause but to accelerate the pace of change – to share the challenges and share our learning as we work through this process of change.

We’re run by a volunteer committee, and, like many we’ve had to change the way we work, currently operating primarily through our social media accounts. Our website also holds resources and case studies to assist your future planning to ensure that inclusion, diversity and accessibility remain top priority as we rebuild.
